Job summary

42North Dental in Hanson, MA is seeking a Dentist who will lead the patient’s clinical journey from initial exam to comprehensive care. You will provide restorative, preventive, and surgical services across periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics within an established practice.

The role requires a DDS or DMD, an active state license, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification. Competitive annual earnings reflect a broad salary range.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current license to practice dentistry in the state.
• Documented Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS/CPR certification currently valid.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain highest standard of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
