Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Dentist to join our Boston-area practice. You will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients, and create comprehensive treatment plans for preserving and restoring oral health.

You will review options with patients, maintain records, and stay current with evolving dental technologies and standards in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics
• Keep abreast of new developments and best practices through ongoing education
