Job summary

42 North Dental in the Boston area is seeking a Dentist to lead the full clinical patient experience—from initial exam and treatment planning to delivery of care. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will join a practice that welcomes a strong flow of new patients each month and emphasizes continuing education, mentorship, and collaboration across a network of doctors.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA‑accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and maintain patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues in the oral cavity.
• Maintain high quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and best practices through continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree
