Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Dentist limited to Pediatrics to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality dental care while ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for our patients. This role requires proficiency in pediatric dentistry practices, along with a commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
- Diagnose dental conditions and develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Execute a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to root canal therapy, fillings, and extractions.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure the highest standards of infection control within the clinic.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide seamless patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices, including the use of Epic for patient management.
- Educate patients on oral health maintenance and preventive care strategies.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license with no restrictions.
- Nitrous Permit required.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and general dentistry practices.
- Experience or familiarity with root canal therapy is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients.
- Proficient in medical documentation practices and adherence to HIPAA guidelines.
- Commitment to maintaining aseptic technique in all procedures.
- Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
