Job summary

Blue Jay Dental is seeking an Associate Dentist in State College, PA. This full-time role offers a $50,000 sign-on bonus plus competitive starting pay. Work four days a week at an established practice with mentorship opportunities in implant placement and molar endodontics.

The ideal candidate holds a DMD or DDS from an accredited school, has an active PA license with DEA registration, and is committed to practicing comprehensive general dentistry in the State College community.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS from an accredited dental school.
• Active PA license and DEA registration.
• Willingness to live and participate in the State College community.
• Competence in all facets of general dentistry.
• Strong focus on clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnosis of patients’ dental status utilizing accepted clinical and radiological techniques.
• Assess patients’ dental status and arrange for appropriate consultations to determine needed treatment.
• Provide comprehensive professional dental treatment to address oral health needs.
• Perform routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, and fluoride treatments.
• Refer to dental specialists when appropriate.
• Manage administrative functions of the dental office.
• Supervise the work of dental hygienists and dental assistants.
