Job summary
42 North Dental in Reese, Michigan is seeking a Dentist to lead the patient care journey from initial exam to delivery of comprehensive dental treatment. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with a focus on high-quality care and patient education.
Qualified candidates hold a DMD or DDS, state licensure, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice coverage, and current BLS/CPR.
Qualifications
- DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
- Current state license to practice dentistry.
- Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
- Proof of malpractice insurance.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention.
- Diagnose oral diseases.
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
- Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
- Review treatment plan options with patients.
- Review and update patients' dental records.
- Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
- Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
- Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
- Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
- Maintain high quality standard of care for all patients.
- Maintain high ethics and professionalism.
- Keep abreast of developments through continuing education.
