Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a full-time Associate Dentist in the United States. The role encompasses the entire clinical patient experience from exam and treatment planning to delivery of care, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

A sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 is offered along with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities. The dentist will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients, and create and discuss treatment

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education.
