Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Dentist to manage the full clinical patient experience from exam to treatment plan delivery. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Strong flow of new patients is expected as part of an established practice. The Dentist will uphold the highest standards of care and ethics, while continuing education through opportunities at 42 North Dental and Harvard Rounds Network.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from CODA‑accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostics.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth/jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
