Job summary

42 North Dental in West Hatfield, MA is seeking a full-time General Dentist to join our team. You will provide comprehensive diagnostic, preventive and restorative dental care, create treatment plans, and educate patients on options.

This role offers up to 36% of collections, up to $20K sign-on bonus, 4-5 days per week, 8AM-5PM, with benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, CE opportunities and strong professional support.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through continuing education

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
