Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from CODA-accredited program.
• Active state dental license required.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documented.
• Malpractice insurance coverage proven.
• BLS or CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality care and ethics and professionalism.
• Keep up to date with new developments through continuing education.
