Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Dentist to manage the full patient care experience, from examinations and treatment planning to delivery of comprehensive dental care. The role includes in-office specialty services and a strong emphasis on patient education and preventative care.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' dental records.
• Review X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth and related tissues.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments through continuing education.

Education
