Job summary

42 North Dental in Hollidaysburg, PA is seeking a full-time General Dentist to join our team. You’ll manage the full patient experience from exam to treatment, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current BLS or CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain the highest standard of care and ethics
• Keep abreast of new developments through CE courses
