Job summary

42 North Dental in Connecticut is seeking a Dentist to join our established practice. The role covers the full patient experience from exam to care delivery, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Active and valid dental license in the state.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B.
• Malpractice insurance coverage.
• BLS or CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Discuss treatment options with patients and obtain informed consent.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Uphold high standards of care, ethics, and professionalism.
• Stay current with new developments, technologies, and best practices through continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
