Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a Full-time General Dentist in Montoursville, PA. You will oversee the patient experience from exam to delivery of care, with in-office specialty services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Join a team that supports ongoing CE opportunities and a pathway to leadership, with a competitive sign-on and potential for 36% collections. Expect 4-5 days/week, 8am-5pm, with a daily guarantee or percent of collections.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (ADA CODA)
