Job summary

42North Dental in Montoursville, PA seeks a full-time General Dentist to deliver comprehensive dental care from initial exam through treatment delivery. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role offers a daily schedule of 8AM-5PM, 4-5 days per week, with a daily guarantee or up to 36% of collections. A sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and exclusive CE opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients maintaining ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
