Job summary

42 North Dental in Washington, DC is seeking a licensed dentist to join our growing practice. You will oversee the entire clinical patient experience, from exam to delivery of care, with in-office specialty services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

We offer a competitive compensation package with an annual rate of $150,000–$250,000 plus the opportunity to earn up to 36% of collections, as well as comprehensive benefits and continuing education through partners

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest standards of care, ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree
