Job summary

42North Dental in Charlotte, MI, is hiring a Full-time General Dentist to oversee the patient experience from exam to care delivery. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. Typical hours are Mon-Thu, 8AM-5PM, with a daily guarantee or up to 36% of collections.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
