Job summary

42North Dental in North Granby, CT is seeking a Dentist to oversee the full clinical patient experience from initial exam through treatment delivery, including in-office services such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The ideal candidate holds a DDS or DMD, a current CT license, and a BLS/CPR certification, with benefits including medical, vision, malpractice reimbursement, 401K, CE, mentorship, equity potential, and unlimited earning potential.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry in CT.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments via CE and professional development.
