Job summary

42North Dental in Trexlertown, PA is seeking a Dentist for a part-time role with a weekend Saturday shift from 7AM-12PM and a broader weekly patient flow. You will deliver comprehensive dental care across exams, treatment planning, and in-office specialty services, with opportunities for continuing education through Harvard Rounds Network.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high-quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
