Job summary

42 North Dental is recruiting a Dentist for Gentle Dental Rochester. The role entails delivering the full patient experience from initial exam to treatment, with in-office specialty support in periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Applicants should hold a DDS/DMD, be licensed to practice dentistry, and maintain Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification. Excellent earning potential and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain, and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain high ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education

Education

DMD or DDS degree
