Job summary

42 North Dental in Saginaw, MI is seeking a full-time General Dentist to join our practice. You will manage the full patient experience from exam to treatment, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, typically 8AM-5PM, 1-3 days per week.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics
• Keep abreast of new developments through CE and professional development
