Job summary

42 North Dental, built by dentists for dentists, is seeking a full-time General Dentist to deliver the full patient care experience from exam to treatment. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program (as required).
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standards of care and ethics.
