Job summary

42 North Dental, built by dentists for dentists, invites a DDS/DMD to join our Boston-area practice. You’ll lead the full clinical patient experience from initial exam and treatment planning to delivery of care, with in-office services in periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

We offer exclusive continuing education at no cost and a mentorship network of doctors. Applicants must have a CODA-accredited degree, current state license, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients’ medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
