Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a Dentist to join our established practice rooted in Boston’s healthcare community. You will lead the patient care journey from exams to treatment plans, with access to in-house specialty services and a supportive network of doctors.

The position emphasizes comprehensive dental care, patient education, and adherence to the highest standards of ethics and professionalism, backed by ongoing continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA
