42North Dental in Portland, ME seeks a dentist to join Restorative & Aesthetic Dental Associates. You will oversee the full patient experience from initial exam to treatment, with in-office services in periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry in Maine.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• BLS or CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and plan treatments.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests.
• Perform restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity.
• Uphold high standards of care, ethics, and professionalism.
• Stay current with new developments through continuing education.
