42North Dental in Portland, ME, is seeking a Dentist to lead comprehensive patient care at Restorative & Aesthetic Dental Associates. You will handle exams, treatment plans, and a wide range of procedures in a modern, patient-centered setting.

The role offers a production-based compensation model with strong earning potential, and a flexible schedule that can be full-time or part-time. No nights or weekends are required, with comprehensive benefits and mentorship through an experienced network.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license.
• Vaccination for Hepatitis B.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of developments and best practices.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program

Current state dental license

Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
