Job summary

42 North Dental in Portland, ME seeks a Dentist to join Restorative and Aesthetic Dental Associates. You will lead patient care from exam to delivery in a modern, patient-centered practice.

The role supports in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with a flexible schedule (full-time or part-time) and no nights or weekends. Competitive earnings based on production are offered.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Malpractice insurance coverage.
• BLS/CPR certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment options with patients and obtain consent.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain highest standards of ethics and professionalism.
