Job summary

42North Dental in Portland, ME, is seeking a dentist to join our restorative and aesthetic-focused practice. The dentist will manage the full patient experience from exam to delivery of care, including in-office specialty services such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• Dentist with DMD or DDS degree and active state license.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B is required.
• Current malpractice insurance coverage is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and create treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Perform restorative and preventive dental care.
• Conduct surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
