42 North Dental in Portland, ME, seeks a licensed Dentist to lead the patient care experience from initial exam to delivery of comprehensive restorative and aesthetic dentistry. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans with patients.
• Maintain and update dental records and radiographs.
• Perform restorative and preventive dental care and select surgical procedures as needed.
