42 North Dental in Portland, ME is seeking a Dentist to lead the complete patient care experience from exam to treatment delivery at the Restorative & Aesthetic Dental Associates practice.

The in-house services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with a focus on restorative and aesthetic dentistry. Competitive earnings based on production and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
