Job summary

42 North Dental in Portland, ME is seeking a licensed dentist (DMD or DDS) to join our patient-centered practice. You will provide comprehensive dental care across restorative and cosmetic treatments, develop treatment plans, and educate patients on options.

The role offers a competitive earnings potential of $150,000–$200,000 per year, with production-based compensation and a flexible schedule (full-time or part-time).

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and discuss treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Perform restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
