Job summary

42North Dental in Portland, ME is seeking a licensed dentist to join our restorative and aesthetic team at the Restorative & Aesthetic Dental Associates clinic.

You will deliver comprehensive care from exam through treatment planning, participate in a collaborative network, enjoy flexible scheduling (full- or part-time), strong earning potential based on production, and access ongoing mentorship and education.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
