Job summary

42 North Dental in Portland, ME is actively seeking a dentist to deliver comprehensive restorative and aesthetic dental care. You will manage the complete patient experience from examination to treatment and collaborate with a skilled team in a modern, patient-centered practice.

The role offers a flexible schedule (full-time or part-time), no nights or weekends, and a production-based compensation with strong earning potential.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth/jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissue
• Maintain highest quality standard of care and ethics
• Keep up with new developments through continuing education
