Job summary

42 North Dental in Portland, ME, is seeking a dentist to lead comprehensive patient care in a modern, patient-centered practice. You will manage exams, treatment planning, and restorative procedures within an in-house team of specialists.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and update comprehensive treatment plans.
• Review treatment options with patients and obtain consent.
• Maintain and update patient records (medical and dental).
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures as needed.
• Uphold high standards of ethics and professionalism.
