Job summary

42 North Dental in Portland, ME seeks a Dentist to manage the full patient experience from exam to treatment within a restorative and aesthetic practice. You will coordinate with in-house specialists to deliver comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and discuss treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Perform restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
• Stay updated on new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
