Job summary

42North Dental, built by dentists for dentists, seeks a DMD or DDS to join our Connecticut practice in Roxbury. You will lead the patient experience from initial exam through treatment, with in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth/jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
