Job summary

42North Dental in Whitman, MA is seeking a Dentist to oversee the full clinical patient experience from initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care. In our established practice, you will work with in‑office specialty services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, while welcoming a steady flow of new patients each month.

Qualifications

• ADA CODA-accredited DMD or DDS degree required.
• Current state dental licensure.
• Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care
• Maintain the highest ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments through current continuing education courses and professional development

Education

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program

Current state license to practice dentistry

Hepatitis B vaccination
