Dentistry at Nahor is seeking an associate dentist to provide a comprehensive range of general dental services in a fully digital, private practice near Charlottesville, VA. From day one, you’ll have a full clinical schedule and collaborate with a dedicated staff and owner‑dentist to deliver high‑quality care.

The role emphasizes clinical autonomy, modern technology, and compassionate patient care, with a focus on complex procedures and preventative treatment in a high‑need area.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Current Virginia State Dental License and malpractice insurance.
• Experience with emergencies, endo and surgical extractions is a plus.
• A pleasant and compassionate personality with the ability to remain calm under pressure and make patients feel comfortable.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of general dentistry, including high-quality restorative work (composite fillings, crowns, and bridges).
• Conduct simple and surgical extractions, including management of diseased tissue and bone.
• Act as the primary provider for emergency walk-ins and scheduled urgent care, performing same-day palliative or definitive treatment.
• Perform root canal therapy; proficiency in molar endodontics is highly preferred.
• Design, fit, and deliver removable and fixed prosthetics, including full and partial denture.
• Evaluate medical histories, analyze digital X-rays, take intraoral scans, and conduct thorough oral cancer screenings to diagnose dental conditions accurately.
