Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a dentist to join our established practice. You will manage the full patient experience from exam to treatment, with in-office specialty services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients, and create treatment plans while maintaining records and upholding the highest ethical standards. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documentation is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and conditions.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment options with patients and obtain consent.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for patients.
• Uphold ethics and professionalism at all times.
• Stay current with new developments and continuing education.
