Job summary

42North Dental, founded by dentists, seeks a dedicated dentist to join our Massachusetts practice in Taunton. You will oversee the patient experience from exam to treatment plan, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients, and create comprehensive treatment plans while maintaining records and staying current with evolving standards of care.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Active state dental license.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review and maintain patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth and surrounding tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care and professionalism.
• Keep up with new developments through continuing education.
