Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Doctor of Dental Medicine/Doctor of Dental Surgery to lead patient care from examination to treatment planning and delivery. The role includes preventive, restorative, and surgical procedures within a collaborative network.

Successful candidates hold an active state license, BLS/CPR certification, and malpractice insurance. The practice offers comprehensive benefits and extensive continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity
• Maintain high quality standards of care and ethics
• Stay updated on new developments and best practices through continued education
