Job summary

42North Dental is hiring a dentist to join an established practice where you will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, and create comprehensive treatment plans. You will educate patients on options and maintain accurate medical and dental records while delivering high-quality care.

The role offers ongoing continuing education, mentorship from a network of physicians, and exposure to a steady patient flow.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and professionalism.
• Stay updated on new developments and best practices.
