Candidates should hold a DMD or DDS from an ADA CODA-accredited program, possess a current state license, and provide proof of Hepatitis B vaccination and malpractice insurance. A BLS/CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documented.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patients' oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high ethical standards and professionalism.
• Keep up to date with new developments and CE courses.
