Job summary

Meridian Health Services in Marion, Indiana, is seeking a full-time Associate Dentist to join our growing dental team with occasional support at Fort Wayne and Portland.

We offer a 4-day work week (4 x 10-hour days) or a traditional 5-day work week (5 x 8-hour days), plus competitive compensation and a strong benefits package designed to support your professional growth and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Current Indiana Dental License (or ability to obtain).
• DEA and CSR certification.
• Experience in community health, public health, FQHC, or rural dentistry settings (preferred).
• Passion for serving diverse and underserved populations (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments.
• Diagnose and develop treatment plans for acute and long-term dental needs.
• Provide preventive, restorative, and emergency dental care.
• Educate patients on oral health, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support whole-person care.
• Manage dental emergencies and urgent patient needs.
• Ensure continuity of care through follow-up visits and patient communication.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all regulatory requirements.
• Stay current with advancements in dentistry and evidence-based practices.
