Job summary

42 North Dental in Michigan is seeking a full-time General Dentist to join our team in Saginaw. You will manage the complete patient experience from initial exam and treatment plan to care delivery, with in-office access to periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The position offers a Monday–Friday 8 AM–5 PM schedule with 1–3 days per week and a choice of daily guarantee or compensation up to 36% of collections.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics.
• Pursue ongoing education and professional development.
