Job summary

42 North Dental is actively seeking a full-time General Dentist for our Hollidaysburg, PA practice. The Dentist will oversee the full patient experience, from initial exam through treatment delivery, with in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role offers a daily 8AM-5PM schedule, 4-5 days per week, and a daily guarantee or up to 36% of collections. Competitive benefits and ongoing CE opportunities are provided to support your growth.

Qualifications

• Must have a DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Must hold a current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and adjust treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain highest standard of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
