About the Role
Haverhill Dental Practice are looking to welcome a new associate dentist into our busy practice, toplay a full and active role within our multi-disciplinary team. The role is offeredon a part orfull-time basis working 3, 4 or 5 days per week.The post-holder will be part of the wider dental team, providing clinical support to with the assistance of our support team. They will provide a full range of dental care to the patients of the dental practice, from routine examinations to advanced specialist treatments.
Duties will include;
- Examination, assessment and treatment of patients.
- Undertake the diagnosis, selection of appropriate periodontal techniques and delivery of periodontal care in an effective way.
- Undertake more advanced periodontal treatment procedures if trained to do so.
- Routine exodontia and/or simple surgical extractions.
- Undertake the diagnosis, selection of appropriate restorative technique and the delivery of restoration or replacement of teeth in an effective way.
- Identify commonly occurring emergencies and leads the dental team in the appropriate first line management of the emergency, using appropriate techniques, equipment, and drugs.

About the Candidate
You will be a dentist with strong experience within primary care and have the following skills and qualifications:
- GDC registration
- Ability to work in a polite, confidential and discreet manner, respecting patients at all times.
- NHS performer number
- VTE applicants considered

We are a friendly surgery based in Haverhill close to Cambridge.You will be joining a multidisciplinary team of hygienists, therapists, dentists focussed on patient care.The practice has experience in training student hygienists, young dentists and foreign dentists.
