Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and update treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients’ medical and dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high quality standards of care and professionalism.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.

The Dentist is responsible for the entire clinical patient experience from initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care. In-office specialty services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, providing comprehensive support and collaboration while allowing providers to focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
