Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Dentist for Restorative & Aesthetic Dental Associates in Portland, ME. You will manage the full patient experience from exam to care delivery, with in-house specialty services across periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

We offer a production-based compensation model, strong earning potential, and a collaborative environment with mentorship and continuing education opportunities. Flexible full-time or part-time schedules available.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients’ medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics.
• Stay current with new developments, technologies and best practices.

The Dentist is responsible for the entire clinical patient experience from initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care. In-office specialty services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.
