Qualifications

• MD, DO, or PhD from an accredited institution.
• MD candidates must have completed ACGME-accredited residency.
• ABMS board certification.
• Tenure track candidates must be eligible for appointment as a tenured associate professor or professor of medicine upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing student affairs functions including Admissions, Career Services, Counseling and Wellness, Student Academic Support, Student Financial Services, Student Services and Registrar.
• Supervising, mentoring, and supporting the Assistant Deans for Students and staff.
• Leading the four-year comprehensive advising program for medical students and the Careers Curriculum.
• Overseeing MSPE process for fourth-year students to align with AAMC guidelines.
• Planning orientation, White Coat Ceremony, Match Day, Class Day, and Commencement.
